What we believe

We Believe:

That Scripture is divinely and verbally inspired by God and is without error.

In one God that is holy and perfect without sin, which exist in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. All three persons of the Trinity are separate and equal but still remain God.

That Jesus Christ is God. He is both God and man, born of a virgin, died for man sins, rose from the dead and ascended into heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God and is the only mediator between God and man.

That the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity is equal with God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son. That He indwells the believer at salvation; He convicts men of their sin and empowers the believer to abstain from practicing sin and to live a humble and separated life from the world.

That for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

That Water Baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances to be observed by believers after salvation.

That man was created by God in His own image but was separated from God by sin in The Garden of Eden which brought about not only physical death but spiritual death. From that day forth man has been born with a sinful nature and is in need of salvation.

That salvation is obtained entirely by faith in Jesus Christ through the grace of God without works to those who repent and ask God to forgive them of their sins and believe that Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood for their sins and truly wants Him to be the Lord of their life.

That Satan exists and seeks to deceive and destroy man by turning him away from God. That eternal punishment awaits those who are lost and rejects Jesus Christ.

That the lost will be eternally separated from God and tormented in the Lake of Fire.

That the truly saved are eternally secured because of the sufficiency of grace and the shed blood of Jesus Christ and nothing can separate us from the love of Christ.

That Jesus Christ is coming again to this earth to rapture His church who will meet Him in the air and some time after that the tribulation.

That the Church is made up of true believers who must be the light of the world in the darkness that destroys the hearts of men. That we are commanded to go into the entire world sharing the gospel of Christ and ministering to all in need.

That pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress and to keep one self unstained by the world.
